I had an amazing time in Georgia this weekend, I got to see my favorite girl and celebrate her baby to be! Her shower was perfect and pink! After the baby shower I took a little trip in to downtown Atlanta, a place I’ve been a time or two but I’ve never really had time to just explore. I had no idea the College Football Hall of Fame was even in Atlanta but when I saw it on the map I knew I had to go. College Football is one of my favorite things in the world, I had no idea what to expect when I walked in but as soon as I did it was like Disney World for me. I really loved how they seemed to appreciate the state of Texas, they seemed to have quite a bit of memorabilia related to several Texas schools.

After the college football hall of fame, we walked around centennial park, which houses the Olympic rings. It was a pretty cold day and the sun was going down, so we didn’t have much time to see anything else. After a wonderful day in Atlanta we headed to a dinner party at my friends house where we had a wonderful meal of fajitas and leftover cupcakes. The rest of the weekend was pretty low key, and which was nice, the weather wasn’t the best, but I had fun. I am looking forward to my next trip and I cannot wait to get it planned.
